Plantations: Pumpkin seeds

For Halloween, we cut a pumpkin in two, looked inside and took the seeds.

We planted some of the pumpkin seeds in the ground outside and some inside in a pot. We waited, poured water on it and observed regularly our plantations.
And one day, we discovered a great thing... The plant had grown ...

The plant in the pot grew very fast but during Thanksgiving break nobody took care of it and she died.

 Outside, the plant grew slower than inside but it's still alive... We can see the stem and some leaves...
We figured out the plant inside didn't get enough water, so it died, whereas the one outside either got some water from the rain, or found more humidity inside the ground.
