The writing to share and Valentine's day!!!!

Le thème de ce Writing to Share était les émotions. Les enfants de toutes les classes de l'école ont réalisé une production sur ce thème. Notre classe a choisi de coupler ce thème à celui de la Saint-Valentin. The theme of this Writing to Share was the feelings. The children of all the classes of the school made a production on this theme. Our class chose to link this theme to Valentine's Day.The idea was to use Valentine's day to express ourselves.
Nous nous sommes amusés à mimer les émotions suivantes: "content/triste/effrayé (la peur)/en colère."We enjoyed emoting the following feelings: " happy/sad/scared/angry. "

Pour la production plastique, nous avons tous peint un grand coeur en carton avec de l'encre rouge ou rose:
For the art production, we all painted a big heart on card board with red or pink ink.

Nous nous sommes entraînés à former un coeur à l'aide d'une chenille rouge métallique en 3D. Nous avons ensuite repassé avec le doigt le contour du coeur pour s'approprier le geste. We tried to create a heart with a red metallic stick in 3D. We followed with our finger the heart shape in order to master the gesture. 

  Enfin, nous avons tracé et découpé pleins de petits coeurs. C'était un bon exercice de graphisme et de motricité fine. C'était difficile mais on s'en est tous bien sortis. Nous les avons ensuite collés sur notre coeur en carton. Then we  drew and cut out plenty of tiny little hearts. It was a good exercise for handwriting and fine motricity. It was difficult but all went well. We glued them on our cardboard heart.

En langage, en dehors du vocabulaire des émotions, nous avons travaillé sur le passé composé avec la structure "j'ai fait", sur le "qui" et sur l'utilisation des pronoms "il/elle". Miss Julia a repris ces structures en anglais avec nous. Nous avons ainsi collé notre texte en anglais et en français sur notre coeur. 
In language, on top of using the vocabulary of feelings, we worked on the present perfect using the structure " I made ", we worked on the use of the word "who" and the use of the pronouns "he/she". Miss Julia used these structures again in English.We finally glued the texts both in english and in french on our hearts.

  Le vendredi 14 février, au matin, nous sommes allés accrocher les photocopies de nos productions dans la cour des grands. Nous avons pu garder notre production originale afin de l'offrir à la personne de notre choix à l'occasion de la Saint-Valentin.On the morning of  Friday, February 14th, we hung the copies of our productions in the big playground. We kept our original production to offer it to the person of our choice for Valentine's Day.

 Plus tard dans l'après-midi, nous sommes revenus pour choisir la production d' un autre élève. Later  this afternoon, we chose the production of another student.

 De retour en classe, nous avons lu les productions choisies et nous avons partagé les petits cadeaux de la saint Valentin que chacun avait amenes! Back in class, we read the written productions we had chosen and we shared the Valentine's day gifts we had brought in.
